Dr. Angeline Simeus
Professional life: Dr. Simeus is a proud graduate of the University of South Florida where she earned her Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees, in Psychology and Public Health. She then went on to study and earn her Doctorate in Optometry at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry. As an optometrist, Dr. Simeus has helped meet the visual needs of patients throughout Wisconsin and Florida. Offering eye exams in multiple languages, Dr. Simeus is proficient in English, Haitian-Creole, Spanish, and is currently learning Portuguese!
Getting personal: Dr. Simeus is passionate about providing quality care to each and every one of her patients. She is also passionate about helping others in need. She has traveled to Haiti, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and various communities throughout Puerto Rico on medical mission trips, to help people see more clearly and receive care to prevent blindness. As an active member of the Black Eyecare Perspective, Dr. Simeus has also helped mentor HBCU students to decrease health disparities within the black community by increasing representation within the field of Optometry. Diving deeper, Dr. Simeus enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, singing karaoke, and traveling. She is currently working on visiting all 50 states; she has 21 states left. Dr. Simeus is looking forward to providing total vision care to you and your family!
